SPRING PING IN PICKERING:
March 25th, 2012
It was a beautiful sunny day in Pickering, a great day for a Sunday afternoon ping. Close to 40 Coronation Street fans met at the Fox and Fiddle Mansion. We did some trivia, played some games, had some good food and chatted about the show we all enjoy. We had lots of draws for prizes which included Coronation Street clocks, handheld Corrie trivia games, mugs, Hilda aprons and cadbury chocolate fingers. Prizes were also kindly donated by Janet & Wayne, Ann & Bill, Alice McNutt and Tony at Heritage Associates. I have never met Tony before, but I have always seen his big display of British dvd's at the British Isles show in Toronto. A few fans had been into his booth at the Pickering Flea Market and mentioned our pings and he very generously donated a prize. Thanks Tony! Check out Heritage Associates.
Thankyou to the Fox & Fiddle staff who always look after us.
Thanks to David for supplying the microphone and a special thankyou to the fans that attend and make it a fun afternoon. Corrie fans are the best!
Can't wait till the next ping.
In the mean time,
Happy Corrie watching!
Don't forget to sign my guestbook.
