ST. PADDY'S DAY AT THE GATES:  MANCHESTER 3/17/10

This wasn't one of our regular pings, but when we went to Manchester for our winning trip we met a few Corrie friends at the gates.  There was Emma, Graham, Matt, Pete, Michael, Nicky, Linda & Jon plus Al and I.  Fred, Andy Whyment's dad even came to say hello to me.  We met a few actors at the gates that day including Jack P Shepherd, Chris Gascoyne, Julie H., Simon Gregson, Julia Haworth and of course Mikey North.

Later on we went to The Ox for dinner, not too far from the studios.  We did have a Corrie star attend our ping, Steve Huison who plays Eddie Windass.  Okay he didn't join us, but he did sit right next to us.  Al could have reached over and touched him.  Steve is wearing the green shirt and hat.  He'd come in with his newspaper for a quiet pint, so we just left him alone.....except for one of us (and it wasn't me!).

It was a great day in Manchester, with Corrie stars, good food and fabulous friends.   I can't wait for Christmas at the gates 2011.'
