When I got my first computer, I immediately googled Coronation Street.  I ended up on sites CSVU and Corrie.net.  I couldn't believe there were other fans out there just like me or that there was a whole Coronation Street 'community' out there.  After a while I joined my first CSVU chat, talked Al into attending our first ping, organized my own ping and were meeting fans from not only Ontario, but the rest of the country, plus United States, England and as far away as New Zealand.  I always say:

CORONATION STREET FANS ARE THE BEST!!!

Some fans I chat to online, others I have met in person at pings, lines at British shows and even the grocery store.  You never know when you are going to bump into another fan or find out your neighbour is a big fan or  your nephew's soccer coach's wife is a fan too.  Some fans I know will be lifetime friends.

It often amazes me how one show can bring so many wonderful people into your lives.
